Before you start
Is Shareroom free?
Searching, saving rooms and messaging advertisers is free. Listing a room is free too. Nobody should ever charge you an inspection fee to view a room.
How do you check advertisers?
Every advertiser confirms their phone number and passes an ID check before they can post. Our team then reviews each advert, and can separately check permission to let and inspect the property.
What is a caution fee?
A refundable deposit held against damage or unpaid bills. Every advert shows it as part of the move-in total, and says whether it is refundable.
Can I pay rent monthly?
Some advertisers accept monthly or six-monthly rent. Each advert shows its payment period, and you can filter by it when you search.
When do I see the address?
Adverts show the area only. The street address is shared with you once the advertiser accepts your viewing request.
